How do I get rid of the black edges around my movie?
Moyea DVD Ripper can help you crop the movie. Select the movie and then click "Clip", click on the "Crop" tab. There are three ways to crop the black edges:
a. Select the options in the drop-drown list of "Letter box".
b. Drag the dashed frame on the preview panel.
c. Change the value of the four positions: Top, Left, Right and Bottom.
Click "OK" to save the changes and the black edges will be eliminated.
Can I convert a DVD on which there is "Copy Protection"?
A DVD with "Copy Protection" is encrypted with Content Scrambling System (CSS) to protect DVD from being copied. As CSS is used in various forms between DVD player and DVD drive, different keys to decrypt CSS should be available within the software. Moyea DVD Ripper can rip most of the copy-protected DVD movies to popular video formats for your convenience.
After I load my DVD into the program, I can only see the titles of it. How can I see the chapters in each title of the DVD?
Please click the button between "Title" and the red one, "Start Ripping". It will show or hide the chapters of your DVD.
After I make some proper modifications on settings, is it possible to save it as a single profile so that I can use it directly each time?
It can be done by the "Save As" button. After you finish the modifications, please click this button and finish other jobs following instructions. After the profile is created, you can delete or rename it as you like.
How can I set the output file name?
Please find the column named "Destination File" on file list. Click the particular output name twice and then you can specify the output file name.
Please notice that if you have checked the box for "Merge into one file", the output file name of the upper file on the list will be used as output file name.
How to rip my DVD into one file?
Load the DVD and then click the "+" option in front of the Title, then you can view the all chapters. You can also right click on the file list and then choose "Show Chapter" to display all the chapters. Check the boxes of the chapters you want to merge into one file, and then check the box for "Merge into one file". Click "Start" to rip several chapters of the DVD into one file.
I want to rename the file. But when I right click on the file list and choose "Rename Selected File", I don’t see any changes.
Please make sure that you have selected a title or chapter, which has been checked. The function to rename file is only applied to the checked and selected chapter or title.
The sound of the output file is too quite. Can I set a larger volume?
You can select the chapter or title and then click the "Clip" button. Under the "Effect" tab, there is an option named "Volume". Drag the bar to a larger percentage. Click "OK" to save the settings. Then the output volume will be louder.
I have chosen to get a 3GP file, but how can I transfer the file?
Generally, there are 2 ways to transfer video file to cell phone.
1.Transfer the 3GP file to cell phone directly through the data transmission line along with the cell phone.
2.Upload the video to internet web server, and then use cell phone to visit the web site and download the video. Please make sure that the website support 3GP format.
